i robot:short stories

there are a number of stories in this book, all of them consist of the three laws of robotics which are:

A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
A robot must obey any orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

all of the stories are told by DR. Susan Calvin. one was about a mind reading robot, that told people what they wanted to hear because the truth would hurt them so he had to lie to make them happy.

another was about missing robots that against the law would not have any first law installed.
