The Spook's Battle

Thomas Ward ,also known as Tom, is the seventh son of the seventh son so he is the spook's apprentice. The spook's job is to take care of anything supernatural and dangerous, people don't like the job so they keep their distances being the spook. Alice is Tom's only and closest friend, her mom was a Malkin witch and her dad was a Deane (two strongest witch clans) she used to be a witch raised by Lizzie Malkin (who was destroyed in the first Spook book by Tom). The spook doesn't like his apprentice and "the witch" getting too close because he doesn't trust Alice.
Tom's mom left the country to battle evil on her own in her home country, Greek, and Tom's dad had died so when he goes back to his farm to retrieve trunks that his mam has left him, he felt lonely. Something was wrong Tom thought, no one replied when he called out. He entered the house and was hit by a wave of fear. Bloodstains. Bloodstains on the walls, his biggest brother Jack (who owned the farm) and his family was nowhere in sight. The trunks that his mam had left him was gone to, since Alice was a witch she could do "long-sniff" and found out that other witches has done this. Alice said that she was going back to Pendle ,the city where Malkin and Deane witches dwell, to do some investigation Tom refused but Alice insisted on going. So Tome ran back and told the Spook what happened upon hearing this the Spook and Tom set off to Pendle next morning. There he met Father Stocks a person who completed the Spook's training and now devoted his life into being a priest. Father Stocks and the Spook went off the ask the people of Pendle if they knew anything about Tom's family. While they were gone Tom met a witch called Meg, Meg Mouldheel she tried to put a spell on him but it didn't work so she ran away.
