An exciting blog for 7B to record their own reflections on the books they have read and to read and comment on the reviews of their classmates too.

Hate that Cat by Sharon Creech
This is book is like a giant poem with stanza's instead of paragraphs. it even has different kinds of poems such as Shape poems, rhyming poems, onomatopeas, similies and metaphors. the subject of the book is about a boy calld Jack who is inspired by many poets. He even sends postcard to his favourite - William Carlos Willams. He always reads his poems to his mother who is deaf and uses hand signals to communicate. Most of his poems are about an ugly black cat which hates him just as much as he hates it. He hopes to be a famous poet one day just like Mr William Carlos Williams.
