The kite runner

the kite runner is an incredible book, its great. this is about the life of a person called amir. amir referred to his dad as 'baba'. his baba told him there was no greater sin than stealing, every other sin is the same as stealing, for example when you lie you steal a person's right to know the truth, when you kill you steal a person's life or a child's father. but later in the boo he learned the truth about his baba. when he was young he had a friend called hassan, and despite hassan's loyalty to him he betrayed hassan that faithful day of the kite tournament. in Afghanistan kite fights were held, the aim was to cut the opponents kite. that wasn't it though. the fun part was for the kite runners, when a kite was cut, tons of kite runners soared through the streets of Kabul. the first person to get the kite got to keep it. Hassan was the best of all. the best prize was when the last kite had been cut. amir did the kite fights and hassan ran the kites. assef was a bully, no worse he was a psychopath. he asked hassan for the kite and hassan said he promised amir the kite so assef punished him. amir saw everything that happened. he did nothing but run. he had betrayed hassan. later in the book he framed hassan. and Hassan and his dad left even they could have stayed. many years later amir and his baba fled to America since their country was invaded by the Russian forces. many years later he got married and got a call from an old friend called rahim khan. he then learns things that shocked him. ha had another adventure. but read the book to find out what happened. it is a very sad book.
