The Witches of Pendle
This story is about a young girl called Jennet Device. She was in a prison, in England 1634. In those days, people use to beleive in witches. That was a reason why she was in prison. Her mother, half brother and half sister are witches, but not for Jennet. Jennet's father was a normal man. He left Jennet when he found out she was a witch. Jennet's mum, half-sister, half-brother were sent to jail. A man adopted Jennet because he knew she was not a witch. Jennet's relatives were hanged. Years have past and the man who raised Jennet died. Villagers in the village blamed Jennet for the death of the man who raised her. People said that she was a witch so they but her in prison. Jennet was in the same prison that her realtives was in.
