this girl and her brother discover that their father is a monster slayer and when he is kidnapped by monsters they set of to find him along with a talking book and a one eyed lemer thing, thats kind of freaky. and is not a monster along the way they kill various monsters, and then defeat the king of evil to get their father back and they discover the scary lemer thing is their great, great grandfather or something weird like that i wasnt really reading only half concentrating, not taking everything in you know? cause it wasnt that good of a book, but technically i read the whole thing, so dont ask me questions but you could, but dont! i dont like answering questions but i could....
back to the book they get their dad back but he doesnt have any memory left, so they go home and the freaky lemer thing comes up with a plan to get the dads memory back but first they have to wake up their dead mother then it ends.
