The Secret Garden

The secret garden is a very interesting book. Mary Lennox lived in India with her mom and dad. But she never really got to see them, her dad was always at work and her mom was only interested in partying. So she had an ayah- an Indian way to say nanny, every time she was crying her ayah had to make everything her way to keep her quiet from her mother, and that’s why Mary grew up spoiled. But one day she overheard her mom talking about some kind of disease- cholera. Soon they heard a loud scream in the house. She found out that her Ayah was the first person to die from the disease. Soon many more servants were found dead even her mom and dad. After days have past by, two guards found her and brought her to the home of the Reverend Crawford, a poor English minister. He decided that she should go live with her uncle in England, Misselthwaite manor in Yorkshire.
And that’s when Mary comes to live with her uncle and her sickly cousin in their big house on the Yorkshire Moor; she is lonely and ill-tempered, until a robin shows her the key to a secret garden long forgotten. Now, with the help of her new friends, Mary transforms the secret garden into a place of peace and beauty, finding her own happiness and the love of her adopted family along the way.
I won’t spoil the ending for the people that are interested to read it.

Anne Frank

If you have never read the Anne Frank book, well now it's the time.
Its very innteresting and i am sure you all have heard of her. This is a non-fiction book writing by the one and only Anne Frank.
"It is one of the greatest books in the century." said one of the most famous newspapaer.
It was found and edidted by her own father after she died.
If you find her story interesting, you could try vissiting her house (now as a museum) in Amsterdam. It's a great thing to do, my sister went.

Frankenstein

When Victor Frankenstein was a young boy he always wanted to be a great scientist he was very interested in the human body. He had two younger brothers, Ernest and William and a girl that the family decided to take care of which was Elizabeth. She was beautiful and kind. And the first time Victor saw her, for he knew he would fall in love with her.

But one day, when Victor and his brothers were teenagers the mother was dying, she told Victor to promise her to marry Elizabeth. And he was glad to keep the promise. But they were still so young and he still wanted to be scientist. And so he promised that when he would come back from school in Ingolstadt in England he will marry her right away.

And so he went on his journey. Few years past and Victor finished school. But there were more things that Victor wanted to know about the human body. And one day he thought of making his own living human. After researching in books and with famous scientists, he was ready at last. But it wasn’t easy; he took years to make it. He stayed in the laboratory all day and night without sleep. He missed every season that passed outside the window. He was in a dark room by himself with a candle light. But after few years, he finally finished what he has been making.

That day that Frankenstein finished his experiment he was ready to power it. But once he had put it into life he just noticed how ugly and big the monster was…
If you find this interesting, which I thought was super interesting; you could probably find this in the library.

Soon their dreams of an animal run farm turn sour in more ways than expected! Hens rebel, Snowball(another pig) joins another farm and most of the animals are executed after confessing to their own crimes!! The 7 commandents of Animal farm are also not followed. I haven't finished reading the book, so i'll update you all soon!

Coraline

I've just started reading Coraline. It's been made into a movie too. Has anyone seen it or read it?

It starts of with a girl named Coraline Joneses who has moved into a building, a very old and big building in fact. Her family didn't own the whole house since it was way too big so instead they owned part of it. There were other people that lived in the house, Miss Spink and Miss Forcible lived in the flat below Coraline's (on the ground floor). Miss Spink and Miss Forcible were both old and round, they once have been actresses, as Miss Spink told Coraline. Above Coraline's flat was another flat and a crazy old man with a big mustache lived there. He told Coraline that he was training a mouse circus, to Coraline, she thought he was making it all up.

Everyday she goes out exploring around the garden. She found a black that watched her but when she tries to come close and play with it, it just runs away. But then one day, it was raining so she wasn't allowed to go outside. Her dad suggested on counting blue things in the house or something like that, so Coraline did. She wanted to go into the drawing room, the drawing room was where they kept the expensive furniture Coraline's grandmother left them. She counted the doors and there was one that was locked, in the drawing room. She asked her mum where it went and her mum said 'Nowhere, dear'. When Coraline's mum unlocked it, there was a brick wall. It was a different flat on the other side of that wall.

That night she stayed awake on her bed. She heard something...A noise. She followed it. It lead her into the drawing room, there was a shadow. It ran into one corner. Coraline turned on the light, but nothing was there just the door that lead to nowhere. She was confused and went back to sleep. She has a dream, with shapes, little black shapes with read eyes and sharp yellow teeth. And a song.

Next morning, she met the crazy man again, 'The mice have a message for you,' he said. 'The message is this. Don't go through the door.' The day was normal.

Next day, he mum was out so she took the key to the door and went into the drawing room. Guess what, she opened the door, although this time there was no brick wall only a dark hallway.

Here's the trailer of Coraline:
