The Secret Garden

The secret garden is a very interesting book. Mary Lennox lived in India with her mom and dad. But she never really got to see them, her dad was always at work and her mom was only interested in partying. So she had an ayah- an Indian way to say nanny, every time she was crying her ayah had to make everything her way to keep her quiet from her mother, and that’s why Mary grew up spoiled. But one day she overheard her mom talking about some kind of disease- cholera. Soon they heard a loud scream in the house. She found out that her Ayah was the first person to die from the disease. Soon many more servants were found dead even her mom and dad. After days have past by, two guards found her and brought her to the home of the Reverend Crawford, a poor English minister. He decided that she should go live with her uncle in England, Misselthwaite manor in Yorkshire.
And that’s when Mary comes to live with her uncle and her sickly cousin in their big house on the Yorkshire Moor; she is lonely and ill-tempered, until a robin shows her the key to a secret garden long forgotten. Now, with the help of her new friends, Mary transforms the secret garden into a place of peace and beauty, finding her own happiness and the love of her adopted family along the way.
I won’t spoil the ending for the people that are interested to read it.
