Jonh Arable's sow gives birth to a litter of piglets.ANd Mr Arrable discover one of them is a runt and decided to kill it. However his eight year old daughter Fern beg to let it live.Therefor his grandfather gave it to fern to keep as a pet.And Fern name her piglet Wilbur.Wilbur is a hyperactive and awlwaays exploring new things.He lives with Fern for a few weeks but then sold to fern uncle, homer zuckerman.WILBUR get lonlier day after day.Eventually a warm voice said that she'll be her friends.The next dY WILBUR WAKES UP and meet his new frien Charlotte the grey spider.
