horror high: date with death 

this book is partly horror and partly mystery. the trouble starts with prom when all the pops (popular kids) have dates and Megan and her friends don't, they don't go to proms. at the school picnic Megan meets Dan and he gets to know Megan. Meagan is surprised to see that he knows her because he was one of the pops. Leah Markham n of the pops accidentally falls of the lighthouse point and dies. but people who knew Leah said that she would never have gone up there alone. Megan gets really scared when the police announce that it was no accident. they found out that someone had deliberately kicked her off the light house and killed her. Megan then gets attacked. someone dumped her into the the bin jammed the lid closed and set it on fire. but luckily she was found out in time, Lilly then gets a broken nose because someone attacked her. when they accidentally hit beth's car the boot opens and the box was there, the stolen dresses, Leah's hair-band. she was arrested. But Megan thought it was all too organised, and she was right. at first i thought it was jade (Megan's best friend) because she didn't care about the pops, she only wanted dates but in the end it was actually... read the book to find out
