An exciting blog for 7B to record their own reflections on the books they have read and to read and comment on the reviews of their classmates too.

Judy Moody - Goes to College
In this book Judy is not in a good mood, she is definitely not in a math mood. 3T (Judy's class) have a substitute teacher because Mr Todd was away. The substitute teacher thinks Judy needs to improve her math skills. So Judy started seeing a math tutor, she didn't seem pleased with it but she had no choice. She thought there would be flash cards and baby games but when she meets her tutor, her opinion changes completely. Her tutor turns out to be a college student, so 3 times a week Judy goes to college. She thought it was 'radical', she started talking and dressing just like her tutor. E.g. people turned into 'peeps' and wearing flip flops. She learned many things like drawing graphs and also as she said it - she went from having a 'bad math-i-tude' to having a 'radical glad-i-tude'. She bragged to all her friends at school and told them every single detail about 'how she went to college'. Although she becomes smarter than most people in her class, her attitude wasn't so good. Read it to find out how Judy changes and how different she thinks of math and other things too.
