20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

Professor Aronnax is a scientist; he studies about the sea and sea creatures. But the year 1866, sailors reported an odd sight. They saw something faster and bigger than any sea animal. It could have been a narwhal or a man made ship that could go under water. But they still hade no idea how anything like that could be possible. It was seen by too many people to not be true. So Captain Farragut, secretary of the Marine, invited Professor Aronnax to come on his ship to find the beast or any sort of man made thing. One night the “beast” came, Professor Aronnax harpooner friend, Ned, threw a harpoon attached to a rope held by Professor A., to the “beast” which caused no harm to the creature. In fact the rope pulled Professor Aronnax of the ship which made Ned fall off too. Professor Aronnax butler, a great man that loved to serve Mr. Aronnax, Conseil, jumped in too to help his boss.
The three friends ended up on a metal surface. It was the “beast”, but no it was a submarine. Just a few minutes later a door appeared to open and two men invited the three men in.
The two men did not speak their language. But the captain of the submarine did. Captain Nemo. They introduced each other. Captain Nemo sent Ned and Conseil to their cabins but kept Professor Aronnax to himself to eat dinner and talk. Then he showed Professor Aronnax around the submarine. Professor Aronnax was very pleased to stay here, because it was the best place to learn about the sea.
At the end of this adventure, over 9 months. Stepping foot on South Pole, discovering the lost ancient continent under the sea, Atlantis and most of all travelling 20,000 leagues under the sea. But at the end, Professor Aronnax escaped the submarine with his friends never will he forget about this great adventure with this great man, Captain Nemo.
