The Penultimate Peril

This book is, well, the penultimate book of the unfrotunate events series. (Penultimate means next to last) In this book, the Baudelaires work at a hotel (Hotel Denoument) while trying to observe who are the villains and who are the volunteers, as there is to be a meeting in a few days time. This is harder than expected, though, as the whole hotel uses the Dewey decimal system to allocate their guests.(A philosopher will stay on the first floor, just like books on philosophy will be on the section labeled: '100'.) As the situation unravels, the Baudelaires discover that the errands they did all contributed to a dastardly plot to intercept an important parcel.(the sugar bowl) But why is the sugar bowl so important? Read to find out!!
