The Enemy by Desmond Bagley.

On a beautiful, warm summer evening in the quiet town of Marlow, a young woman was walking home from church. She passed a man who was looking at the engine of his car. He turned round, smiled at her...and threw acid in to her face.

Then her father, the scientist George Ashton dissapeared. And her sister, Penny, discovered that her husband-to-be, Malcolm, is a government agent. Why had Ashton disappeared? Who is he anyway??.........................And who is the enemy ebhind these event?

You can find this mysterious book in Fahasa. I get nervous all the time when I read this book. But it's wonderfull. Imagine being thrown deadly, strong, concerntrated acids in your face! That got to hurt!!
