An exciting blog for 7B to record their own reflections on the books they have read and to read and comment on the reviews of their classmates too.

Now folks, all these (apart) from the last one are on "difficult" setting, so you will need to think carefully about your answers. Copy and paste the links into your browsers and get to work on them.
DO NOT simply click on 'answer; straight away. There is NO POINT in doing this and you will not learn anything. Try as hard as you can to answer it yourself before you click on 'answer'.
After each round, please write the correct answers in your book. Also in your book, note down what score (be honest!) you got in each round.
Okay, there are four rounds....get started!

Goosebumps: The Headless Ghost
This book is about two kids who "haunt" their neighborhood, by howling behind bushes at neighbors and throwing rubber spiders in a boy's bedroom. But one night they decide to go a little further. There's a famous town attraction of a haunted house--it is haunted by the spirit of headless boy who got his head ripped off by a ghost! They've visited it a hundred times on tours. One night they decide to join the current tour group, and then wander off searching for the head of the headless boy. Do they find anything? Read this story and find out!
Breaking Dawn
Bella and Edward get married, but their honeymoon is cut short by Bella's realization that she has become pregnant. Bella's pregnancy progresses at an extremely fast rate and makes her very weak. She nearly dies while giving birth to her and Edward's half-vampire-half-human daughter, Renesmee, but Edward injects Bella with his venom to save her life by turning her into a vampire. A vampire from another coven sees Renesmee and mistakes her for an "immortal child", the existence of which violates vampire rules, and informs the Vultori. The Cullens gather vampire witnesses who can verify that the child is not one of the immortal children. The Cullens and their witnesses convince the Volturi that Renesmee is not a danger to vampires or their secret, and they are left in peace.

The Worst Witch
This is Harry Potter for younger readers. The Worst Witch is exciting with magic spells, people being turned into frogs, a scarily strict teacher, a horrid enemy classmate and loyal friends.
Mildred is a witch and she goes to The Academy for Witches which seemed just like a normal school – just with broomstick lessons and spells classes! This book is also very funny with Mildred getting into all sorts of scrapes. Mildred is so hopeless that even her cat, Tabby, is a terrible witches cat. Read to find out her adventures in her new school.
There are at least 5 books in the Worst Witch series.
Judy Moody Gets Famous

In this second book of the series, Judy Moody wishes she could be famous, like Queen Bee Jessica, winner of the Northern Virginia Spelling Bee. And when her brother sets up a "Moody Hall of Fame" on the refrigerator, she realizes she has nothing to put in it. It turns out everyone she knows was shortly famous at some time--everyone except Judy. Judy sinks deep into gloom.
She gets imaginative by displaying what she claims to be a cherry pit from George Washington's cherry tree (unfortunately, a little kid swallows that claim to fame). Next, she enters her cat into a pet trick contest. She thinks she'll win first prize with her cat-making-toast trick, but comes in second to a piano-playing chicken.
Judy keeps on trying, but fame continues to avoid her. But when she meets a young heart transplant patient, Judy becomes famous in a most unexpected way.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid - Rodrick Rules

Greg Heffley is trying to put behind the memories and events of last summer. Although it would be much easier if his mean older brother - Rodrick -didn't know his darkest secret. All Greg has to do is keep Rodrick quiet and keep his 'diary' far away from Rodrick and everything should be okay. Read to find out if the 'secret' will come out. Will Rodrick tell Greg's 'darkest secret'?
Diary of a Wimpy Kid - Last Straw

Let's face it, Greg Heffley will never change his wimpy ways. Somebody just needs to tell that to Greg's father.
